|Helen Procter (CQC Registered Manager)|
The General Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The General Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Though you may not see them much, up on the first floor, the admin team play a huge role behind the scenes. This includes sorting the thousands of clinical letters that come into the practice every week, managing referrals to and from the practice, overseeing the long term conditions recalls, and managing the patient clinical information systems, and much much more.

Receptionists provide a vital link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. As well as this, they also perform lots of other important tasks such as overseeing medication requests, arranging medicals, booking appointments, contacting patients about results and followup, and liaising with pharmacies, nursing homes and other healthcare providers.
