Alternatively, the right hand section of your prescription, which lists your medication, may be sent by post after ticking the items you need, or it can be handed in at reception. It is helpful to the practice and will avoid mistakes if you use this slip every time.
If you come to reception to order or pick up a repeat prescription, it is advisable to attend between 11am and 2pm - when we are quieter. This means you shouldn't have to wait too long.
Please note, we do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions by telephone.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
